By acknowledging the horoscope as a unique life compass, we can move beyond the trap of needing to legitimize astrology’s value and utility from a scientific point of view. Instead, we can explore how already scientifically proven concepts, ideas and interventions can be merged with astrology to spark reflection, agency and increased well-being.

This talk focuses on self-compassion and self-care and will cover questions such as "What are some astrological markers linked to self-compassion and self-care?" And "What does modern, psychological research say about practicing self-compassion and self-care?" Through delineation of real chart examples, Frida will demonstrate how to merge the evidence-based with the esoteric, and work with self-compassion and self-care based on what we identify in the astrological chart.

Frida Rydqvist is a modern astrologer, psychologist and PhD student from Sweden. She specializes in merging the symbolism of astrology with modern, evidence-based psychology to promote well-being. Her astrological journey began in 2011, and today she is focused on finishing her doctoral studies, while building her practice as a consulting astrologer.
